As a major, you can earn certification for high school teaching in Spanish or French. Unique to Eastern is the course in cadet teaching, in which, as a teacher candidate, you have the opportunity to work with a faculty member in a beginning course to refine your teaching skills. Options of work in various other teaching settings, including area elementary schools, are also available.
