Pedagogy
The graduate program in Pedagogy is an ideal course of study for the student interested in mastering the art and science of physical education instruction in the school setting. Students will have opportunities to examine and analyze current issues related to curriculum, teaching methods, program organization and administration, and behavior management in the school setting. Pedogogy students will also explore pedagogical research related to instructional strategies, curriculum models, student characteristics, school environment, and student motivation. Any graduate student who is already teaching physical education and coaching athletics at the K-12 level (or planning to) will benefit from this graduate course of study.
