What does Charleston, IL have to offer?

Located in Charleston, a city of about 20,000 noted for its friendly sense of community, Eastern is a residential university of largely full-time students.

Its residence halls, apartments and Greek Court house more than half the student body and provide integrated living-learning programs.

Eastern has students from nearly all Illinois counties, most of the continental states and approximately 25 foreign countries.

The approximately 10,500 students have the advantage of an attractive, compact 320-acre campus with a full range of extracurricular and social activities. Student graduation rates are well above state and national averages.
