I plan to attend Eastern Illinois University to major
in Journalism and am applying for financial assistance in the form of a
Grant-in-Aid or Talented Student Award. If I receive and accept this award, I
will apply for admission to the University and comply with all admission
requirements as set forth in official publications. I understand that this
application does not constitute application for admission to Eastern Illinois
University or application for university housing. I further understand that
during any semester I receive this award I must (1) be officially enrolled in
the Department of Journalism as a full-time student, (2) remain in good
standing, and (3) demonstrate my intention to pursue a career in journalism by
active participation in one or more of the student media programs affiliated
with the Department of Journalism, working part-time in a professional situation,
or other approved activity.
