Journalism
classes at Eastern Illinois Universitys are taught only by
full-time tenure, tenure-track faculty and selected adjunct faculty
members who also are working journalists. Each instructor has extensive
professional and practical experience in the areas of their teaching
assignments and is committed to instructional excellence in the
classroom. While all are actively involved in research/creative
and service activities, the Journalism Dept. faculty's primary commitment
is to provide outstanding instruction. Each faculty member is readily
available to students seeking academic and career advice.

Beth has lived in the Charleston area her entire life. She graduated from Charleston High School in 1986 and she currently resides in Ashmore, Illinois, with her daughter.
