Eudora is a commonly used e-mail software program. Some instructors use
class time to demonstrate how to use it and then have their students use
it for that class. Eudora allows you to store and manage e-mail on your
computer. Eudora is capable of handling multiple e-mail accounts. What do I need to get started?
- Your user ID, e.g., cuxyz or cgxyz
- Your password
- A personal computer
- A working connection to the internet via EIU network or modem and
phone line
Note: screen shots are from Windows 2000 with Eudora 5.1.1. How do I install Eudora? If you do not have Eudora on your machine and you wish to use it, then
you will need to download it.
- Go to http://www.eudora.com/download
- Scroll down and select your appropriate operating system.
- A download should begin at this time.
- Find the downloaded file on your desktop and double-click on it
- Read and answer the questions through the install process
