System Preferences - choose Nework1. Choose "System Preferences" from the Apple menu, then click on "Network" in the Preferences window.

Network - TCP/IP tab2. Under the Network tab,

  • Set location to "Automatic"
  • Set Show to "Internal Modem"
  • Set Configure to "Use PPP."
  • Leave the "Domain Name Servers" and "Search Domain" boxes empty.

Network - PPP tab3. Click on the "PPP" tab then enter settings as in the example.

Network - Modem tab4. Click the "Modem" tab then check the box next to "show modem status in menu bar."

 
Connect5. TO CONNECT: Click the telephone icon in the upper right corner of the desktop, choose "Connect" from the popup menu.
