Welcome
to ISEP!!
The
ISEP homepage provides the information and web resources necessary
for your ISEP course this semester. To connect to your WebCT course,
click on the link on the left.
ISEP
Information Meetings for
Fall 2008
EIU
students may prepare to teach grades 6-12 through the Regular
Program or the Integrated Secondary EducationProgram (ISEP).
To learn more about ISEP, students are invited to attend any of
the following half-hour informational meetings:
Tuesday, October 14, 4 p.m.--Buzzard 2439
Wednesday, October 22, 5 p.m.--Buzzard 2160
Thursday, October 30, 3p.m.--Buzzard 2160
If
you cannot attend, you are welcome to call 581-7394 for an appointment.
Taking
ISEP Courses
SED
3000 (Level I) Admission to the Integrated
Secondary Education Program (ISEP) is by application only. If you
are interested in applying for ISEP and taking the first course,
you will need to fill out the application materials and return them
to the Department of Secondary Education and Foundations Office
after registration for the desired term has begun. Applications
are considered on an on-going basis throughout the registration
process so early application submissions are encouraged. Please
consult Barbara Cantron in 2147 Buzzard Building for assistance.
SED
3100 (Level II) To register for this course, you must come in
to the Department of Secondary Education and Foundations Office
once the registration for the next term has begun. Please consult
Barbara Cantron in 2147 Buzzard Building for assistance.
SED
4000 (Level III) You may register for this course on PAWS when
registration opens. Spring 2009 and Fall 2009 student teachers must
attend a Pre-Student Teaching Meeting with Teresa Freking/Cheryl
Warner to receive course materials and instructions before you leave
campus. Meetings are scheduled in the month of November for spring
student teachers and April for fall students teachers.
