Costs

In addition to having the lowest tuition costs of any public university in the state Eastern also offers a unique ‘Textbook Rental' option that saves students hundreds of dollars each semester.

The approximate costs for the 2007-2008 academic year of study (August to May) are as follows:

* Undergraduate tuition based on 12 credit hours per semester, Graduate tuition based on 9 credit hours per semester.

**Includes University Health Insurance

***Living expenses estimated for single student only. You should allow $5,000.00 per year for your spouse and $2,000.00 per year for each child to pay for their food, housing, medical care and other miscellaneous expenses.

                  Please expect an approximate increase of 15% per year.

There are five main sources of financial aid available to International Students:

1. International Student Scholarship

•  a renewable scholarship for students of any level awarded based on financial need and academic merit

2. Graduate Assistantships

•  a full tuition waiver plus a monthly stipend in exchange for up to 20 hours of work per week for your academic department (for graduate students only)

3. Athletic Scholarships

• support ranging from partial tuition to complete tuition, fees and room and board offered in exchange for membership on one of the sports teams

•  International Students may work up to 20 hours per week in an on-campus post such as the library, cafeterias or computer labs
