The university purchases high quality, solid items that wear well over long periods of time. These items are also serviceable which makes it possible for the university to fix and renovate items rather than replace them frequently. Over time, this results in savings that are passed along to you in terms of stable residence hall living costs.
University Housing & Dining Services has an annual budget of approximately $1.3 million dollars to facilitate the replacement cycle and provide new furnishings and complete renovation projects.
