McKinney Hall is located in the center of campus and is part of the Triad complex. The Triad consists of Ford, McKinney, and Weller Halls. Mailboxes for Triad residents are located in McKinney. Our friendly secretary works at the Triad Desk, located in McKinney. She is ready and willing to serve EIU students.
McKinney Hall is unique because it currently houses the majority of Honors Students. McKinney Hall has one Resident Director, and a Resident Assistant staff of four. McKinney Hall is set up with two wings connected by a common lobby and desk area. Double and triple rooms are available.
McKinney Hall has 24-hour visitation, which allows anyone to visit the opposite sex wing as long as he or she is escorted by his or her host.
McKinney Hall has a strong Hall Council. Resident Assistants and Hall Council provide a variety of programming for residents.
