Lincoln Hall is located just East of the Student Recreation Center. Lincoln Hall is an all-female Residence Hall with four floors, in which 200 students are housed. The building has a recreation room in the basement, a piano lounge on the first floor, and study lounges on the second and third floors. There is one kitchen facilities in the basement's recreation room.

Lincoln Hall also has its own laundry facilities located on the basement floor. Lincoln Hall shares a dining center with other two building (Stevenson & Douglas Halls). Panther Dining is located in Stevenson Hall and it offers two specialty lines, omelets and deli sandwiches.

Lincoln Hall Staff is composed of four Resident Assistants and the Associate Resident Director. The staff provides the students with an environment that has a strong sense of community and respect for individual growth. Lincoln Hall does this by organizing and presenting programs designed to educate students in every day issues, such as women's role in society, relationships & friends, peer pressure, etc. These programs help the students to feel more comfortable during the hard transition of leaving home and coming to university life.

Lincoln Hall also provides opportunities for those students who want to be involved on campus. Hall Council is a student organization in charge of organizing activities for students living in Lincoln Hall. Every resident is welcome to be a member of Hall Council. But for those residents wanting to expand their leadership skills, they have the opportunity to be part of the Executive Board. The Executive Board is responsible for administering the students activity fees. With this money, Hall Council organizes activities such as ice-cream socials with other residence halls, bingo, barbecues, and so on. Lincoln Hall provides the perfect environment for students to have fun and growth as individuals, during their stay at Eastern Illinois University.
