Ford Hall is located in the center of campus and is part of the Triad complex. The Triad consists of Ford, McKinney, and Weller halls.
Ford Hall consists of four RA's and a Resident Director. The RA's provide programming to all students in the building as well as their individual floors in the areas of academics, social, diversity and personal development.
The building generally comprises of older students, however, this year the building's dynamics changed to 31.5% Freshman, 31.5% Sophomores, and Honor Students. This change was due to spill over from the Honors building, and Ford collected the overflow of students. Ford is still open to any interested student. Ford Hall is designed to accommodate disabled students. Wheel chair access is available, and the rooms have been adapted to meet these students's needs. Ford Hall is a non-smoking building. Additionally, Ford is the only building in the Triad that does not have a 24 hour visitation schedule. However, on the weekends, 24 hour visitation is allowed.
Ford Hall has a Hall Council which consists of a mix of the Hall's student population. The Council provides programs for the overall building, votes on activities the Hall becomes involved in, and acts as a voice for students in the building.
