Douglas Hall an all male, air-conditioned residence hall. It houses nearly two-hundred students on its four floors. The Douglas Hall staff is composed of one Associate Resident Director and six Resident Assistants . Douglas Hall provides a safe environment where students can concentrate on their academics as well as enjoy the programming and recreational activities planned by the staff. For those students looking to get involved on campus, the Douglas Hall Council is a perfect place to start. This organization is in charge of organizing a number of activities for the residents such as basketball and pool tournaments and homecoming activities.
There are four different lounges in Douglas Hall. There is a recreation room in the lower level, in which pool, and big screen television can be used by the residents. The piano lounge on the first floor gives students a place to meet and study for classes. The second and third floor lounges are great places to hold meetings, hang out with friends, or take time to study. The laundry facilities are located in the lower level and work by using the Panther Card. Douglas Hall shares a dining center with Lincoln and Stevenson Halls. Tower Dining is located in Stevenson Hall and traditionally offers two specialty lines each day. Douglas Hall is only seconds from the Student Recreation Center and Lantz Gymnasium. This makes Douglas Hall a perfect place to live for those students who enjoy sports and/or other types of recreational activities.
