Eastern Illinois University is excited to host the 2009 Girls IHSA State Badminton Championship.

Eastern Illinois University and the city of Charleston are busy gearing up for the IHSA Badminton competition at May 14-16, 2009, at Eastern Illinois University. Now is the time to make reservations, for this event. Reservations can be made by calling 217/581-5633 or 217/581-5111.

The following are the available accommodations:

*Everyone will be housed in Taylor Hall.

Breakfast can be purchased in the Taylor Dining Center. Lunch and Dinner will not be provided.
Check-out is one hour after the conclusion of the finals on Saturday, May 16, 2009.

Driving Directions
Eastern Illinois University can be accessed through exit 190A on Interstate 57. From I-57, follow Route 16 east approximately seven miles. Route 16 will become Lincoln Avenue when you reach the Charleston city limits.

If you are checking in at Taylor Hall, from Lincoln Avenue, turn south on 4th Street. Taylor Hall is on your left across from the Rugby Field.

Parking is available in all surrounding lots, and no permit is required. Taylor Hall parking lot is reserved for participants, news media, officials and spectators the Thursday prior to the beginning of the games for participants. Any questions about parking, can be answered at (217) 581-7482.
