The Honors College at Eastern Illinois University is a place of academic engagement, curricular innovation, and experiences that are out of the ordinary for our anything-but-ordinary students. Our faculty foster inquiry and creativity in our students; our students inspire our faculty to stay on the cutting edge of scholarly and pedagogical research.
As the new Dean of the Honors College, I am eager to build on our strong tradition of academic excellence. We will also be exploring new directions in co-curricular activities and outreach. I welcome students and faculty to join us in developing a dynamic and collaborative culture of scholarship and leadership, a community of scholars and citizens mutually engaged in life-long learning and civic engagement.
