Felicia Camacho
Felicia Camacho is originally from Plainfield, Illinois. She attended Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois, and received her BA in History with minors in Museum Studies and Sociology.
Felicia began to look into museums studies when looking for a history-based career that didn't require her to sit in a desk all day. She stumbled upon the museum studies program at Aurora University, and was hooked.
She worked at the Schingothe Center for Native American Cultures throughout her undergraduate career, and interned a semester at the Geneva History Center in Geneva, Illinois. These gave her the basis for understanding a career in museums.
Felicia is the graduate assistant for Dr. Hardeman, a university Professor of History. Her professional interests include, exhibit design, curatorial, education, and collections management.
In her free time, Felicia enjoys reading, playing softball and golf, and spending time with family and friends.
