Anna Mullen

A native of Davenport, Iowa, Anna graduated with degrees in Anthropology and History from Iowa State University in May 2011.
It was not a single moment of realization that drew her to a museum career, but rather two decades of experiences in cultural institutions. Museums have been an integral part of her life as places of exploration and education. In addition to her interests in the museum field, Anna also enjoys running, performing in and attending theater productions and traveling.
Anna has had the opportunity to complete collections internships at institutions across Iowa including The Putnam Museum in Davenport, University Museums at Iowa State University, and Salisbury House and Gardens in Des Moines. For the last year she worked as the Inventory Assistant at the Danish Immigrant Museum in Elk Horn, Iowa re-housing the framed collection.
She is currently completing a graduate assistantship in the Illinois Regional Archives Depository.
