10 December 2007 (Part Three): The home stretch! The class worked feverently to complete their housing survey forms and compose accompanying essays. Even though the day was long and the work was hard, we still didn't get completely finished.
11 December 2007: How do you keep information on dozens of houses from becoming an organizational nightmare? A giant spreadsheet!
12 December 2007: The final proofreading of the survey binder. It was submitted to Dr. Small just before the deadline. It was also the very last thing we needed to do before semester break.

As part of the HA program, we are working on surveying several Charleston city blocks for the city. In addition to outrunning angry dogs, protecting each other from scary people, smiling for incriminating photographs, and trying to explain ourselves to suspicious residents, we have been recording the architectural styles and features of the houses in the neighborhoods.
