Graduate Student Awarded Research Trip to Paris
Monday, October 19th, 2009Chad Cussen, M.A. candidate in the history department, has been awarded a fellowship from New York University and Centre national de la recherche scientifique to study in Paris from January-February 2010. He will be researching for his M.A. thesis dealing with memory and emotion as analytical models in the aftermath of the Franco-Prussian War and attend a seminar led by Henri Rousso, author of The Vichy Syndrome (1994).
