Join us at 6pm on EITHER: Tuesday March 18th in Paris Room (MLK Jr. Union) OR Wednesday March 19th in Paris Room (MLK Jr. Union)

What is the clinic?

This clinic is put on by an American Lung Association volunteer. The clinic distinguishes itself from other smoking cessation programs by being:

  1. Resource Rich – This program is designed to provide the participant with the best possible information and supportive educational materials.
  2. Highly Structured Program – This program offers a systematic approach to quitting through a logical 7 week progression from awareness of the smoking habit to the actual behavior change of quitting.
  3. Focus on Behavior Change – The focus is positive. The activities show participants how to change their behavior rather than emphasize scare tactics and disease discussion.
  4. Maintenance – This program provides the participant with tips to stay smoke-free as well as a plan to maintain their behavior change.
