Kick Butts 5K Walk/Run & Community Picnic: April 5, 2008

This marks the first annual Kick Butts Day 5K walk/run and community picnic. The 5K walk/run will begin in the morning and then be followed by the community picnic where local vendors and businesses will have booths filled with food, games, and information regarding tobacco use and the effects that it has on one’s
health.

Kick Butts Day is a chance for our community to stand out, speak up, and seize control in the fight against tobacco. How? By raising awareness about tobacco—how it harms our health —and supporting strong tobacco control policies and education!
It is time to Kick Butts!

Tentative Schedule of Events:
8:30 - 10am Registration
10am 5K Walk/Run Begins
10:30am – 1pm Booths and Activities Open
