Personal Drinking Profile
The Personalized Drinking Profile involves a form that students fill out to discover their drinking patterns, and how they compare to the average student's behaviors at Eastern Illinois University. After completing the form and returning it to the HERC, the student will receive a feedback form. This feedback form includes a risk and family assessment and shows students what their typical BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) is for a normal week and what it was during the last occasion where they drank the most. Students can also compare how much they perceive the average college student drinks, to the actual amount the average person drinks.

Alcohol 101+
A dynamic interactive CD-ROM program designed to help college students stop the misuse of alcohol on campus. Set on a "virtual campus," Alcohol 101 Plus™ specifically targets at-risk populations of the student body: Freshmen, Greeks, student-athletes, and judicial policy offenders. Through interactive video scenarios users have an opportunity to make "virtual" decisions for "virtual" characters. The CD includes an interactive game developed by SONY, b4udrink, which tests a user's knowledge about how alcohol affects the body, friends and school, sex, and the truths and consequences of college drinking. The CD-ROM also includes a "Virtual Bar," where a user can "virtually" drink and obtain personalized information on the impact of alcohol on their individual blood alcohol concentration and a "Virtual Brain," which conveys information about the physical and mental affects of alcohol.

Alcohol Response-Ability
The Alcohol Response-Ability Program is provided for those with multiple offenses or major violations. It is composed of a three hour online course. Students must also participate in a one hour motivational interview.

The cost of the program is $50.00
The main purpose of the program is to educate those individuals who have been involved in cases involving extreme drunkenness or intoxication about the effects of alcohol and the role it has played in those individuals' lives. The program has been created not to provide additional punitive measures, but as a means of educational intervention.

During the course of the program, such topics as alcohol and its effects on the body, social consequences of drinking, how one views alcohol and drinking, the disease concept, addiction, resources for help, and suggestions on how to control one’s drinking are planned to be discussed. A wide variety of methods and activities are planned with the purpose of educating or making the group aware of their drinking behaviors and the role that it plays in their lives. Such activities or methods often include: experiential activities, homework assignments, group discussion, movies, videos, slide shows, role play, guest lectures, and in-class reflection papers.
