Lisa Hartman - Sexual Health Education
HELLO! I am so
excited that you are interested in the Health Education Resource Center. My
name is Lisa and I am the Sexual Health Education Coordinator. I recently
graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from good old EIU and am currently
working on my Masters in Community Counseling.
Sexual Health is not just about having sex,
although it can sometimes seem like it is. Sexual health can be about
healthy relationships, making the choice to abstain, or deciding how to talk
to your partner about sex.
If I could have you walk away with one thing
after visiting one of our presentations it would be “Sexual responsibility
doesn't have to be a drag. It's about having fun and being safe too.”
I would love to help answer any of your
questions regarding sexually transmitted infections, contraception choices,
pregnancy options, women’s health issues, and relationship communication.
