Licensed Practical Nurse I
Eastern Illinois University’s Health Service Department is seeking candidates for a Licensed Practical Nurse I position. Qualified candidates must have graduated from an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurses and have eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Illinoi Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation.
Responsibilities include: collecting data and vitals to prepare patients for doctor visits, injections, neb treatments, wound treatments, dressings. and proper documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Preference will be given to candidates with EMR experience.
This is a full-time, 10-month position. Benefits include: paid vacation, sick leave, health and life insurance, retirement program options, and tuition waivers.
The qualified candidate must be an Illinois resident and will be required to pass a Civil Service Examination.
