Meningitis Information and Links
The American College Heath Association (ACHA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (CDC-ACIP), recommends that students consider vaccination to reduce their risk for potentially fatal meningococcal disease and that college health care providers take a proactive role in providing information and access to the meningococcal disease vaccine, particularly to freshmen living in residence halls.
