• Services provided to all full and part-time students covered or supplemented through the Health Service student fee include:

• Exams and Consultation
• Standard Laboratory and X-Ray Procedures - When ordered by a Health Service physician
• Pharmacy Service
• Over the Counter medications
• Immunizations
• TB Testing
• Flu Shots
• Allergy Injections - When a student provides antigen and personal physician's instructions
• Women's Health Exams
• Birth Control and Counseling
• Testing for Pregnancy and Sexually Transmitted Infections
• Health Education Resource Center Materials and Programs

Services Not Available at Health Service

• Casting
  
• Dentistry or Teeth Cleaning
  
• Employment Physicals (non-E.I.U.)
  
• X-Ray Orders from Private Physicians that are not Part of the E.I.U. Health Service Staff
  
• Obstetrics Care
  
• Vision or Eyeglass Services

Special Services

Special services and/or referrals ordered by a university physician which are not available through the Health Service may be provided for through the provisions of the student health insurance plan. For specific student health insurance provisions, contact the Financial Aid Office, 581-5290.
