Oral Contraceptives
Contraceptives start at $25 per cycle. Not all brands are stocked. Check at Pharmacy for a list of those in stock as well as current pricing.

Over The Counter Drugs
The Pharmacy stocks a selection of over the counter remedies for sale without seeing a Nurse or Physician. 
These items include drugs for:

• Pain and Fever
  
• Cough
  
• Cold and Allergy
  
• Heartburn
  
• Nausea and Diarrhea
  
• Topicals
  
• Feminine yeast products
  
• A complete list of available items is posted in Health Service and may be obtained by asking at the pharmacy.
  
• Also Available: Trojan-enz lubricated condoms (pkg. of 6 for $1.00)

Prescriptions and refills
Prescriptions are accepted from any licensed Physician or Dentist if the Medication is on the Health Service formulary. The Pharmacy stocks medications used most frequently by the student population. Upon request, we will gladly quote prices and availability.
Refills may be ordered by phone if the original prescription was submitted to the pharmacy and there are valid refills remaining. The refill phone number is 581-7779.

Pricing
Prescription prices start at $10.00.  We are unable to accept individual Insurance or Medicaid cards.
Receipts are always provided and may be used for insurance or tax purposes.
EIU Physicians - Up to a 14 day supply costs generally range from $10.00 to $40.00.  Maintenance prices which are the cost of the drug plus a small fee, apply after 2 prescriptions for the same illness or condition.  Exceptions would be pre-packaged units that last up to a month (i.e. inhalers and some topicals).  These are limited to one prescription  which generally range from $10.00 to $40.00.
Private Physicians -The price is our cost of the drug plus a small fee.  We will gladly quote prices and availability. Items can be special ordered but our price is usually not as competitive as an outside pharmacy.  A 50% non-refundable down payment is required to special order.

Payment
We accept cash, check, or orders may be charged to Student's University account (which can be paid at the cashier's office with a Panther card, debit card or charge card).  Sorry the pharmacy cannot accept Panther cards, debit cards or credit cards, nor do we bill individual insurance or Medicaid.  However, there are several area Pharmacies that do accept these forms of payment.
