The Association of Education and Research Greenhouse Curators consists primarily of greenhouse and plant growth facility managers, supervisors, and staff involved with the operation of college or university facilities used to grow plant materials for research, class use or plant collections. Interested individuals from other institutions such as botanical gardens or private companies are welcome as members also. The AERGC publishes the AERGC Newsletter and sponsors an Annual Meeting at a member's institution. The AERGC also provides the AERGC Forum, an e-mail discussion group, as a service to its members.

The AERGC E-Mail Forum and the AERGC Home Page are sponsored by the Department of Plant Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The computer servers and technical assistance for these services are provided by the School of Life Sciences' Networked Information Technologies Office at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Membership in the AERGC is currently $15 (US Dollars, $24 outside North America) per calendar year and includes a subscription to the AERGC Newsletter.

The AERGC Job Board is a free service offered to AERGC members and their institutions or companies. Only job listings of interest to AERGC members will be posted.
