Edmund Wehrle, Ph.D.

Dr. Ed Wehrle, associate professor of history, currently serves as the coordinator for the graduate program in history. The graduate program offers a Master of Arts in History with concentrations in United States and European history. Dr. Wehrle’s research interests are U.S. labor and international relations. He recently authored the book Between a River and a Mountain: The AFL-CIO and the Vietnam War, 1947-1975 (University of Michigan Press, 2005). He received his doctorate from the University of Maryland in 1998.
