The goal of the Institute is to integrate information about graduate education within the EIU undergraduate experience so that students are better informed about the opportunities and benefits of graduate education and better prepared to pursue an advanced degree.

Meet our graduate mentors!
A network of graduate students is available to undergraduates at EIU to connect students to those who are already pursuing advanced degrees. This peer-to-peer network works to answer real-life questions about how to get involved in research, funding and assistantships, time management, graduate admission applications, and all those issues graduate students have experienced and are currently experiencing in their pursuit of a graduate degree.

GN4U also offers an online incentive program where undergraduates participate in activities and earn points which can later be applied to an application fee waiver or a tuition waiver scholarship.

You must be an EIU sophomore, junior, or senior to participate.
