It is the responsibility of the student, with the help of their advisor, to fulfill the general education requirements put forth by the University. The general education requirements are found in the current catalog under General Education.

Major and Minor Requirements

The Department of Geology/Geography offers students majors, with a B.S. degree, and minors in both Geology and Geography.   There are also majors with honors in both subject areas.  Geography also offers students a minor in Geography with Teacher Certification.  The geology portion of the program offers a minor in Earth Science as well as a minor in Earth Science with Teacher Certification.  A minor in Broadcast Meteorology is also available.
