Scheduled Events
Since 1977 Celebration: A Festival of the Arts has featured a variety of indoor and outdoor programming. A wide range of arts activities can be experienced throughout the three day festival. The festival progams an eclectic blend of musical offerings featuring everything from jazz to rock and folk to classical. Celebration is always interested in being introduced to performing artists. Sometimes last minute cancellations do occur. For availabilities please contact the festival planning office at decrews@eiu.edu or by calling 217-581-2113.
Celebration features a host of activities for visitors of all ages. Admission to the festival is free and the festival grounds are accessible for those with special needs. Eastern Illinois University welcomes you Celebration: A Festival of the Arts.

Pantherstock: Encouraging everyone to Rock, Roll and Recyle!

11:30 am: EIU Jazz Lab Band, Quad Stage
Noon: How green are you?, Library Quad
Noon: Second Annual Celebration Bags Tournament, Library Quad
12:45 pm: Little Boy Jr., Quad Stage
2 pm: Roses and Sake, Quad Stage
4 pm: American English, Voted number one Beatles tribute band. Quad Stage
6:15 pm: EIU Collegiate Band Concert Band, Quad Stage
6:30 pm: Sing-A-Long Sound of Music Sponsored by the Charleston Community Theatre and the Tarble Arts Center Roberson Auditorium Lumpkin Hall Tickets: $10 adults, $8 seniors, $5 students (EIU and high school), $3 youth (under 14)

1 pm: Multi-Cultural Concert, McAfee Auditorium. A Celebration showcase featuring traditional Illinois old time music

3 pm: Airtight, Quad Stage
