The article discusses the facilitation of the transition of students with disabilities from culturally and linguistically diverse background to college. The overrepresentation of multicultural diverse students with disabilities in special education is tied with an underrepresentation in their college attendance. A research suggests that disability combined with other personality issues have much more dominant effect on educational attainment of these students. It examines how the connection of race, class, and disability changes the tasks of special education.
