Present: Gary Hanebrink, Steve Lane , Vicki Woodard, Sheila Baker, Mike Carter Jr., Dan Carpenter, Sandra Baumgartner and Jeff Cross.

Pandemic Influenza Planning

Gary will send copies of the PowerPoint presentation from the recent webcast to the Committee. The Committee would like to discuss further the issues involved in establishing/confirming criteria that would have to be met in the event there is a question of whether to close the University because of a bird-flu pandemic. That is, if the University has a voice in the matter. Closure may be precipitated by governmental mandate. Could we offer courses on-line? Necessary supplies need to be identified and “stockpiled”.

BOWMAC

Since Chief Due was unable to attend the meeting, the BOWMAC software will be discussed at a future Committee meeting.
