Department of English

In summer 2010, Eastern English faculty and students from across the
University will spend five weeks studying and traveling in England. Headquarters is Harlaxton Manor, a short train-ride north of London. Students read English literature in its home, see
one of Shakespeare's plays at The Globe theatre, and (among other
things) earn 6 credits (general education or applied to the English
major) and have several free weekends for their own travel). The
summer 2010 trip will be led by Drs. Francine McGregor and Randall Beebe; interested students should contact either of the trip leaders for more information.
