Angela Vietto

- Angela Vietto studies and teaches colonial and Revolutionary American literature, with interests in gender studies and publishing history. She is author of Women and Authorship in Revolutionary America (2006) and associate editor of Early American Writings (2003). Ongoing projects include an edition for Broadview Press of two novels by Hannah Webster (co-edited with Jennifer Desiderio) and a research guide to American literature, 1776-1820, for Bruccoli Clark Layman, along with research on gender, writing style, and writing instruction in eighteenth-century America. She is also a program member in Women's Studies and a member of the University Personnel Committee (term expires 2010).
