Tim Taylor teaches writing, rhetoric, writing center theory and practice, and composition theory and pedagogy. His research and teaching interests span various aspects of Composition/Rhetoric: argumentation, classical rhetoric, professional writing, composition theory and pedagogy, writing across the curriculum, civic engagement, service learning pedagogy, and writing program administration. His work has appeared in College English and Teaching English in the Two-Year College, and he is the author of the Instructor's Manual for Writing Arguments, 7th & 8th ed. (Longman). His most current project involves writing a basic writing textbook with a former colleague.
