Mary Maddox

Mary Maddox has taught writing at Eastern since 1979. Her fiction has appeared in journals including Yellow Silk, Farmer's Market, Writers' Bar B Q, Illinois Writers Review, and Karamu. She has received awards and grants from the Illinois Arts Council for her writing, and her novel Ancient Children was nominated for the 1983 Editors' Book Award sponsored by Pushcart Press. She is currently revising two new novels.
