Jeannie Ludlow

Jeannie Ludlow earned her Ph.D. with a dissertation on the intersections of feminist and critical race criticism with poetry by Native American women. Her teaching interests focus on feminist theory and criticism, the body in literature and culture, and Native American literatures. Her current scholarship focuses on abortion in literature, politics, and society. Recent articles have appeared in National Women’s Studies Association Journal, Women’s Studies Quarterly, and Transformations. She is currently co-editing, with Mary Thompson, a collection titled No Easy Choice: New Conversations in Abortion Politics and is at work on a book tentatively titled Pro-Choice or No Choice? Lessons from an Abortion Clinic. In addition to her academic work, Professor Ludlow has worked many years at a women’s clinic in Ohio. Jeannie Ludlow is also on the faculty of the Women’s Studies Program, where she is the new Program Coordinator.
