Mary Flannery O'Connor was a unique, wonderful writer, greatly influenced by her religon and life in the South.  Flannery O'Connor successfully wrote many short stories and several novels.  Flannery created numerous wonderful literary works of art.  However, Miss O'Connor's life was untimely cut short by a family disease that had killed her father and which plagued her much of her life.
