The Enrollment Management Office

The Office of Enrollment Management encompasses those services needed by students and prospective students to become admitted and remain enrolled at Eastern Illinois University. It also seeks to ensure a stable student body size of academically prepared students and to promote the retention and graduation of our students. Among the service units included are the offices of Admissions, Transfer Relations, Office of the Registrar, as well as those units in the Division of Student Affairs that support similar enrollment needs including Orientation and Financial Aid.

Among the specific issues handled by the Office of Enrollment Management are the following:

• resolving questions regarding residency status for tuition purposes. Residency requirements may be found here.
• resolving issues particularly regarding deadlines pertaining to withdrawal, late enrollment, drops/adds, refunds, etc
• monitoring the Academic Load policy

Many of the aforementioned matters are handled by the Registrar, but information and paperwork can be obtained by seeing Ms. Carole Burris in Old Main Room 1221.
