Notices

We are currently accepting applications for the 2010-2011 cohort,
which includes teaching full time in the 2010-2011 school year. The application deadline is April 30, 2010. Internships must be secured by May 31, 2010.

Note: To be eligible for the 2010-2011 program, candidates who have not yet taken both state tests (Basic Skills and Appropriate Content Area) must pass both by the application deadline.



Candidates applying for the program must provide evidence
of having passed two tests. The first is the Illinois Basic Skills Test, and
the second is the applicable content-area test corresponding to the intended content teaching
area. Information about test sites, dates, and study
guides for tests are available at www.icts.nesinc.com.
