The EIU Parents Club Scholarship
The EIU Parents Club Scholarship is one of the largest scholarship programs administered through the Eastern Illinois University Foundation.
EIU Parents Club is especially proud to have awarded over $274,300 to help 331 students in need complete their education at Eastern.
Each year the EIU Parents Club awards a number of scholarships to eligible students currently enrolled at Eastern. The purpose of the scholarships is to enable students, needing financial assistance to continue their studies at the University. Selection of the scholarship recipients is made by the EIU Parents Club Scholarship Committee and is based on financial need, academic achievement and campus/community involvement.
The application process opens each December 1. Applications are available in the Student Life and Financial Aid Offices, as well as in the Parents Club Fall newsletter. Applications need to be completed and returned to the EIU Parents Club in the Student Life Office by March 1 of each year. The EIU Parents Club Scholarship is open to all currently enrolled Eastern Illinois University students, with at least 12 credit hours. (See Guidelines)
During the month of April, the EIU Parents Club Scholarship Committee reviews the applications and announces the recipients in early May. For more information contact the EIU Parents Club in the Student Life Office at 217-581-3829.
