The EIU Parents Club Scholarship is one of the largest scholarship programs administered through the Eastern Illinois University Foundation. EIU Parents Club is especially proud to have awarded over $300,000 to help students in need complete their education at Eastern.
Each year the EIU Parents Club awards a number of scholarships to eligible students currently enrolled at Eastern. The purpose of the scholarships is to enable students, needing financial assistance to continue their studies at the University. Selection of the scholarship recipients is made by the EIU Parents Club Scholarship Committee and is based on financial need, academic achievement and campus/community involvement.
The EIU Parents Club Scholarship application process will open Dec. 31, 2013. Applications will be available online located on the Parents Club website. The application, essay and letters of reference must be completed and a printed copy submitted to the Student Life Office, Room 3065 by 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014. Late or incomplete applications/paperwork will not be accepted.
The EIU Parents Club Scholarship is open to all currently enrolled Eastern Illinois University students. The scholarship recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 credit hours) at EIU for the Fall 2014/Spring 2015 semester.
