Based on information received from the Office of Planning and Institutional Studies, Eastern Illinois University employs 1703 full-time employees.  Of these, 277 are classified as administrative professional, 607 civil service, and 819 faculty.

This option for the composition of CUPB is based on the number of full-time employees within each vice-president and president’s area in relationship to the total number of full-time employees.  No consideration is given to the employee classification.

When a model giving consideration to each classification of employees within an area was attempted, the composition of CUPB would need to represent 11 groups with one group having one-third the total number of all employees.
