Meet the Graduate Assistants in Counseling and Student Development

Cagle Michelle Cagle is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Community Counseling. She has plans to graduate in May 2008. As a GA, she is responsible for teaching a section of EDP 3331, Theories of Learning and Development for Secondary Teachers. Her duties as a GA include planning class, grading papers, and meeting with students.
   
Crites Megan Crites is a second-year student pursuing her Master's Degree in School Counseling. She plans on graduating in May 2008. Megan is a graduate assistant for Dr. Nganga and Dr. Farber. She helps Dr. Farber with her group counseling class and helps do research and other tasks.
   
Colleen

Colleen Johnson is a first-year graduate student in the School Counseling program. She will graduate in May 2009 with her degree. Colleen is currently a GA for Dr. Wallace and Dr. Eberly. Her duties include student recruitment for the CSA program, planning CSA Days, assisting with research, and helping plan the HBCU tour.

   
Ridgway Marilyn Ridgway is a second-year student pursuing her Master's Degree in Community Counseling. She plans on graduating in May 2008. Marilyn is a graduate assistant for Dr. Leitschuh and Dr. Yoder. She assists with Pre-Practicum, and also conducts research and helps with any other tasks that are requested of her.
   
Sowa Cathy Sowa is a graduate teaching assistant for a section of EDP 3331, Theories of Learning and Development for Secondary Teachers. Cathy is responsible for creating lesson plans and assisting students in the class. She is expected to graduate in May 2009 with her Master's Degree in College Student Affairs.
   
Vipond Jessica Vipond is a graduate student in the School Counseling program. Her expected graduation date is Spring 2008. As a graduate assistant in the department, Jessica assists Dr. Larson with her pre-practicum and group counseling classes. Jessica also helps Dr. Conn conduct research.
   
Westendorf Ashley Westendorf is a second-year graduate student in the School Counseling program. She plans on graduating in May 2008. Ashley is responsible for keeping the Counseling and Student Development website updated.
