The links at the bottom of the page are to the following interactive graphing templates:
1. Exp 8, CHM 1315,Spectrophotometric Analysis
2. Exp 2, CHM 1415, Vapor Pressure and Heat of Vaporization
Please use the correct template to graph your data.

The browser used to access the interactive graph needs the corresponding MS Office XP web components installed which requires an MS Office license. If you don't have the appropriate license, you will not be able to access the interactive graph. At present, the graphs are only accessible via Internet Explorer (4.01 or later).
You can access the interactive graph from the gregg triad and library computer labs. (Access should be available from other campus computer labs although these were not field tested.)
The interactive graph contains active X controls.
When a template link is clicked, a new screen containing a blank graph (axes and title only) with the message trendline erro along with a blank spreadsheet will open.
Ignore the trendline error message. It is displayed because there is no data in the accompanying spreadsheet.
Enter data as (X, Y) pairs in the appropriate cells. As data are entered, the graph will update and display the data point. After two pair of data are entered, a trendline (regression line) and corresponding equation will be displayed.
The regression equation and right most data label may overlap, but the equation should be readable.
While the graph can be printed, it is not well proportioned. The axes and labels are significantly elongated when printed compared to thier appearance on the web page.
If the regression equation is sufficient, write it down and use it to complete the pre-lab.
