How to Join EIU ACEI

Obtain a membership form (pdf.) (.doc) at a meeting or from an officer. Fill out the membership form, attach your check, made out to Eastern Illinois University. Then, return the form and check to the membership chair, Jill Vokral, or to Dr. Carter. His office is room 2176 in the Elementary Education Department Office, in Buzzard Hall. If he is not in his office talk with the secretary and she will see to it that the check gets to him.

Please remember:
    -Make sure you list your permanent address on the application             form. Checks should be made out to Eastern Illinois University         rather than ACEI.
    -The cost to join ACEI is $40 (forty).
            - $35 to nationals
            - $5 to EIU ACEI
     -Membership checks are only deposited on the FIRST
     MONDAY of every month.

How to Receive for Attendance

To receive credit for meeting attendance, be sure to get your meeting attendance page stamped and initialed by an officer at each meeting. This meeting attendance page is good for the whole semester, so be sure to bring it with you each time you attend.
