To provide early entrepreneurship education and business support services to entrepreneurs and existing businesses throughout the business’s life cycle thereby spurring economic growth in the region. By joining with new and existing partners and pooling resources, the BSC hopes to encourage collaboration in the region that requires a broader focus than what one community can achieve on its own.  

Business Solutions Center Donor Recognition

Summary With your assistance, entrepreneurs will receive just-in-time counseling and training to help their business succeed. Students at early ages will be exposed to innovative thinking and shown the steps to make their dreams a reality thereby strengthening the entire region. Corporations, financial institutions, alumni and business friends are invited to participate. Gifts of cash, securities, and other liquid assets can be made at any time. All gifts qualify as a charitable gift deduction. Gifts will be recognized by the EIU Foundation according to established guidelines and by the EIU Lumpkin College of Business and Applied Sciences as listed below. Silver – Gifts of $1,000 - $4,999 (per year for three years) - Benefits include: Framed certificate of recognition and name listed on web-site. Five complimentary tickets to “How to Start a Business” class.
