Argos: MAPS client reinstalls
In some cases the Argos application will have you reinstall the MAPS client each time you access the web application. The following link will give instructions on how to solve this problem in various versions of operating systems: Argos.
Banner Availability
Banner INB and Self Service is available 24 hours a day except 8:00-10:00 AM Sundays and other times with prior notification to your EIU email address.
Recommended Browsers & Java Plugin
The recommended browsers to use for Internet Native Banner (INB) or Self Serve Banner (SSB) are Internet Explorer 6.0, 7.0 or 8.0. For Mac OS X, Safari 1.2.
If you use any other browser, your results may not be as expected.
Please click on plugin java plugin 1.5.0.17 to begin your installation. Instructions to install the Plugin are available here.
Please note: using the plugin link above will install the correct version of the Java Plugin. Should you be prompted to update to a newer version, please choose 1.5.0.17. Compatible versions of the java plugin are 1.5.0_13 and any number higher that begins with 1.5.
Wireless & Off-Campus Connection to Banner
For On-Campus Wireless connection and ALL Off Campus connection you must use VPN (Virtual Private Network) to access Internet Native Banner (INB). Use this link for more information on VPN to download and use.
